Izzy K Fitness has developed into a brand of personal community fitness. The name began as Fitness Imagery, Inc. in 2001 with a slogan of "My Image is Your Image". Today, the name has slightly changed as I am a single divorced mother with a goal oriented daughter trying to make it into the WNBA; (let's get to college first!) however, the slogan and ideals are still the same.

The company provides motivation for people to exercise no matter the size, age or gender. Fitness is a state of mind which requires energy and maximum effort based on a person's willingness to succeed. My fitness journey began at the age of 12 at 220 pounds. I could barely run, lift my legs and breathed like an angry rhino(laughing). I began to exercise on my own accord, only to see the results of nothing happening. I stayed the same weight as I never changed my eating habits. At the age of 18, I was told by my doctor I had hypertension and was going to die at a young age. This lead me to change my eating habits and motivated me to become certified in personal training and aerobic instruction. Thirty-six years later, I still love to exercise and eat! The key to being fit and losing weight is not having a six pack or eating like a super model; it is about eating the correct portions of food, not over piling your plate, eating fruits and vegetables and exercising for at least 30 minutes a day. Join me as I breath hope and motivation into everyone I meet!
